Flock aggregates social networks, social media, webmail and related tools within the browser interface. With these tools you can keep your friends and media with you while you browse, and interaction with and between them is as simple as drag and drop. Flock has 23 services integrated, including Facebook, YouTube, Flickr, Twitter, and Digg. Along with these service integrations, Flock’s built-in blog editor and photo uploader deliver a whole browsing experience that is unparalleled by conventional browsers.

There of several features that I have found extremely appealing... * Blog Post Editor * Built-in spell checker * Favorites - Local and online favorites. As of version Flock version 0.8.x, integration with online, social bookmarking systems (e.g. de.licio.us) * RSS News Feeds Reader - integrated into the browser. * As Flock is a Mozilla-based browser... o Extensible - As Flock is a Mozilla-based browser, Addons, formerly known as Extensions, can be added that extend the built-in capabilities. Here is a list of My Favorite Add-ons (a.k.a. Extensions). o Personalize - For example, toolbars and buttons can be re-arranged, using View»Toolbars»Customize...", for example. o Search Engine Manager (via Search_Plugins») - As Flock is a Mozilla-based browser, Web sites' searches can be added to the integrated browser search feature.

I started using Flock 1.0 (Production version) this morning and has crashed twice in less than one hour. This didn't happened with my previous version. I wrote Flock's Devs about this problem. I will continue to use this new version to see if it works as it's supposed to. Normally I use Firefox as my default web browser, but I like the social networking philosophy of Flock.

I have been using the various Flock beta's for a few months and it has completely opened up my use of the web. I find myself uploading photos, blogging and generally enjoying the hell out of everything a lot more. I used to use Firefox exclusively, now it's Flock.
