Kudzu.com is an online local search company that aggregates user reviews and ratings on local businesses, merchants and service providers. Kudzu.com is owned and operated by Cox Search, Inc., a subsidiary of Cox Enterprises.
Kudzu.com is primarily an online database of user-generated reviews and ratings of local businesses. Site visitors interested in finding a product or service may search or browse listings by geographic location and “star rating,” among other fields, to find businesses that are the right fit for their particular home and personal needs.
The website originally served the market of Atlanta (with 135,000 listed businesses), and expanded to Arizona (80,000 businesses), San Diego (80,000 businesses) and Las Vegas (50,000 businesses) in the fall of 2006. In the fall of 2007, Kudzu.com expanded its listings on a national level, offering business information and the ability for customers to rate and review businesses in all markets across the U.S.
In addition to user reviews, Kudzu.com lets merchants include more detailed information about their business, including photos, videos, deals and discounts, services offered, hours of operation, maps, credentials and more.
