Polar Rose grew out of computer vision research - the analysis of digital images and video - at the Universities of Lund and Malmö in southern Sweden. Its mission is to enhance the user experience of digital media by adding meaning to photos and video by recognizing people in them.
The team of 18 is divided between Warsaw, Amsterdam, and Malmö.
