A source close to the company reports that Takkle just laid off most of it's developers. The space is getting hyper competitive and Takkle has failed to make their product sticky. They've wasted millions on affiliate traffic, building up a mostly inactive user base. They've had their chance and I gather it won't be long before investors cut their losses, pull the plug and the company folds completely. This is reminiscent of what happened at Heavy. Perhaps it's a trend.
