Dana Stalder

Dana is a General Partner at Matrix Partners. He was previously a Senior Vice President of Product & Marketing & Chief Technology Officer at PayPal, an eBay company.

Previous executive roles during Dana’s 7 year tenure at eBay include Senior Vice President of Internet Marketing, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Vice President of Finance.

Prior to eBay, Dana was part of the founding executive team of Respond.com, a small business lead generation platform that was funding by Benchmark Capital, Hummer Winblad Partners, The Barksdale Group and Morgan Stanley Venture Partners.

From 1994 to 1998, Dana held Director and Vice President positions at Netscape in Finance, Sales and Marketing.

Dana started his career in Silicon Valley at Ernst & Young LLP, providing financial and strategy consulting to both early stage and publicly held technology companies
