Keith McCarty is the CEO and founder of WAYV. His leadership defines the overall vision and direction of the company and he touches all aspects of strategy, operations, marketing, product development, investor relations and company culture.
Prior to WAYV, McCarty was a founding team member at the social enterprise platform Yammer, where he grew
sales and marketing from one person to over 350 employees globally and contributed to the white-hot investor interest in workplace productivity software. In 2012, Microsoft acquired Yammer for $1.2 billion.
In 2013, Keith founded a technology that allowed consumers to safely order home delivery of cannabis (Eaze). He lead the company to become one of the top funded cannabis companies in the U.S. market with $51.5M in funding to-date.
As California legalized adult use, Keith turned his attention to challenges upstream in the cannabis supply chain. In early 2017, Keith began developing a technical solution for the complex logistics required to get product to market. WAYV is the answer - a B2B platform that helps businesses move product quickly, safely, tracked in real-time, from producers to market, within a day.
McCarty is a proven expert in the on-demand economy, entrepreneurship, software applications and business automation. He has successfully navigated complex, highly regulated spaces, balancing growth with compliance while deploying game-changing technology.
McCarty has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and marketing from Chapman University, The George L. Argyros School of Business and Economics in Orange, California where he grew up. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
