Coral Living was set up by a small team who designed and delivered award-winning hospitals. The hospitals were highly rated by patients and staff alike. Success was due to a collaborative user-led approach, and constant challenging of how things could be made better or simpler.
A few years ago the team became aware of the serious shortage of
suitable homes for adults with care and support needs, and the team’s focus evolved towards Supported Living. Coral was created to help improve the lives of the tens of thousands of people currently living in the UK in unsuitable homes.
Their solution is to create well-designed and sustainable ‘smart homes’. They have developed a repeatable model which helps drive affordability whilst enhancing quality.
They work closely with commissioners, care and support providers, healthcare professionals and prospective tenants and their families.
