Company Performance Metrics
The Jameson Health System School in New Castle, Pennsylvania, provides not only quality health services to members of the service area of the Jameson Health System, but also an education designed to advance and improve the quality of life of its citizens and the world at large.
Academics offered at the school include Nursing, Radiography, Nuclear
Medicine, and a Nurse Aide Training Program.
Admissions require students to take a pre-admission examination (the ATI Test of Essential Academic Skills), attend an International Nursing Conference, and have received a C grade or better in the required college courses:
* Anatomy
* Physiology
* General Psychology
* Nutrition
* Human Growth and Development
The School of Radiology requires students to have earned an associate’s degree no later than June 30 of the year in which they plan to enroll, and have completed chemistry, biology, anatomy and physiology courses, all with lab components.
The school provides students with access to the Jameson Health System Employee Assistance Program, tutoring, and the resource center, which includes computers and professional journals and magazines.
Title IV financial aid is available to eligible students in the Nursing program only. In order to be considered for other forms of assistance, students must apply for federal Pell grant funding.
