Aldo is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of ViVum - Technology Evolved, a leading Evolutionary AI (E-AI) company specializing in autonomous vehicles, robotics, and edge devices. ViVum's advanced computing platform simulates human brain neural circuitry, enhancing neuromorphic computing. It employs dynamic neural models like liquid
time-constant networks and CTRNNs. ViVum's architecture-agnostic coprocessors, both physical and virtual, efficiently handle diverse AI tasks, reducing energy consumption and computational challenges for complex AI inferencing.
Prior to ViVum, Aldo, in collaboration with Nobel Laureate Dr. Carolyn Bertozzi and Dr. Carlito Lebrilla, co-founded InterVenn Biosciences in 2016. InterVenn has made significant strides in the field of glycoproteomics, transforming early disease detection through liquid biopsies, particularly in the areas of cancer, autoimmune, neurodegenerative, infectious, and reproductive diseases. Their innovative technologies have led to the development of pioneering diagnostics and treatments such as Dawn™ for Immunotherapy, Glori™ for Ovarian Cancer, and GlycoKnow™ for Colorectal Cancer. Aldo’s entrepreneurial journey also includes the establishment of Veem, a global payment processor, in 2013, and Jukin Media, a leading user-generated content licensing company, in 2009. These ventures have collectively generated over $1 billion in investor value.
In addition to his business ventures, Aldo is an active angel investor and holds an MBA from Babson College and a BS from Ateneo De Manila University.
