Software design is my passion. "Computers" were my destiny from an early age.
Come time, come age, come solar flare: nothing will corrupt the memory of my first programming book. That tome wasn't only a present from my grandparents—it was a future. Its pages held me spellbound. I laboriously recited line after line of its cryptic
script on my keyboard; certain that when the ritual was complete that the incantation would conjure images to life.
Those 8-bit graphics wouldn't impress an eight year-old today, but they completely enchanted the apprentice coder that I was then. The sense of wonder from those days remains with me. It's carried me forward to excel through graduate school.
Life is learning, life is growth. I value mentorship and leadership by example. Design should be simple, uniform, and understandable. The perfect solution is the maintainable one built through iteration and an agile approach.
I seek to apply my strong background in distributed systems and service design to interesting and challenging problems. I am eager to take the lead in architecting solutions for small and large-scale projects. I have experience building teams, leading existing teams, working across the organization, and assisting in all facets of software delivery including sales, client engagement, and technical support.
Let's do great things together!
