Alex built the server side piece for what today is known as Massively Multiplayer Online Games in anticipation of Broadband coming out which it did in 1996 - 1997. Microsoft heard of what Alex was doing and invited him and his team to their Redmond campus to do a demonstration of their already finished "Online Games Platform" and loved it. In fact microsoft loved it so much they criminally misappropriated his application which was built around the Links golf game made by Sierra Software and quickly started the Entertainment division of microsoft and dumped $20 billion into the newly formed division amidst legal battles to break up microsoft. Microsoft them quickly bought Sierra Software which made the links golf game to even farther defraud Alex from using the app his company spent millions to develop and microsoft illegal stole from him and included in the Microsoft Developer kits and illegally licensed those developer kits with his source code included to every microsoft developer around the world, over night they all started building "online game sites" using the Source Code that Alex Thorn's Company developed and owns.
