Chip has founded and run four companies. Most recently, he founded BroadHop which was acquired by Cisco and IP Commerce, while as CEO he grew it from an idea to $8B in payment volume run rate while directly helping companies like Square and Intuit launch their payment solutions. He has also served as an Advisor to PaySimple, Leapset and Loop
Commerce among others in Silicon Valley. He has currently been serving as an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Commerce Ventures.
He is a frequent keynote speaker at industry conferences and was recognized as an up-and-coming business leader in 2002 with the 40 under 40 Award, and more recently as semi-finalist for Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year award. Chip graduated from Colorado State University."
