Ali Fakhri is the Founder and CEO of EventHi, a pioneering event management and ticketing platform dedicated to the Cannabis industry. Since launching the company in 2017, he has positioned EventHi as the premier live entertainment brand in the Cannabis space, now active across 48 states. He also serves on the Event Committee for the Cannabis
Travel Association International, helping to shape the future of Cannabis tourism and experiences.
Ali’s path to EventHi was shaped by both corporate and entrepreneurial experience. He spent a decade in sales and business development with Fortune 500 companies such as General Motors and Mercedes-Benz, while also pursuing entrepreneurial ventures in hospitality, including owning a hookah lounge and other businesses. In 2014, he co-founded Direct Cannabis Network (DCN), the first media company dedicated to covering Cannabis startups, entrepreneurs, and technology. Through DCN, he built a platform that amplified innovation within the industry, laying the foundation for his transition into Cannabis-focused technology with EventHi.
His leadership has been widely recognized: in 2019, he was named one of the Event Industry Game Changers by the San Diego Business Journal, a Trailblazer in the Cannabis Industry by Culture Magazine, and EventHi was honored with the Most Innovative Company in Cannabis award from the Cannabis Business Awards.
Today, he continues to pursue his mission of leveraging technology to create a safe and compliant ecosystem for organizers, brands, and communities, bringing people together offline to celebrate and experience Cannabis culture.
