In July 2005, Amiram Levinberg rejoined Gilat as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. From July 1995 until April 2003, he served as Gilat's President. Until 2002, he also served as Gilat's
Chief Operations Officer. Until July 1995, he served as Gilat's Vice President of Engineering. From 1977 to 1987, Amiram Levinberg served in a research and development unit of the Israel Defense Forces, where he managed a large research and development project.
