Arnon Krongrad joined his first house call at age 6, when his father unexpectedly brought him along as he attended to a man with chest pain. Thus began his lifelong romance with doctoring, from delivering babies in unlit clinics in remote Africa to repairing trauma victims in modern urban hospitals. and clinical research, taught medical students and residents, started online healthcare communities, and reconfigured care pathways. Nearly all his bedside experience relates directly to surgery: in 1999, he introduced the first minimally invasive surgical technique for treatment of prostate cancer into the U.S.
Arnon Krongrad performed the surgeries that inspire the formation of Allevion, and his practical bedside know-how couples with a view that healthcare can be more sensibly delivered.
