Bhupen Shah has more than 20 years of experience in engineering and engineering management.
Prior to joining Acacia Communications, Shah was Director of Engineering at Juniper Networks, leading a team developing complex router ASICs.
Earlier he was Director of Hardware and Software Development at Broadcom Corporation, responsible for the team
that developed a complete Blu-Ray DVD software stack and high definition video chipsets.
Shah also served as Co-Founder and Vice President of Engineering of a fabless semiconductor company, which was acquired by VLSI Technology and subsequently Vitesse Semiconductors.
Shah holds a B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Lowell.
