Blayne Creed joined the senior management team of Gravitas Securities, as President & Chief Executive Officer & Head of Investment Banking, at the onset of 2020 to officially kick off and lead the companies 2.0 initiative. Blayne brings a tremendous amount of business experience and expertise to the organization. He holds the Chartered
Investment Manager designation (CIM) and is also a registered Investment Advisor and Portfolio Manager for Gravitas Securities Inc.
Mr. Creed has diligently advised both private and institutional clients for over a decade. Prior to joining Gravitas Securities in 2016, he spent several years as a Financial Advisor, at a large Canadian investment firm, where he built a sizeable practice. Blayne believes this was only possible by understanding and appreciating his individual client’s objectives, and, as a result, long and prosperous relationships were established and carried forward. Through his life he’s been brought up around business and thinking as a leader and possessing the ability and knowledge to lead others through inspiration and compassion, is certainly nothing new. Blayne comes from an extensive background of successful business women and men throughout his family and vast network. Fair Business ethics and the general topic of proper “corporate governance” was instilled in him since childhood. It has helped Blayne shape the views and morals, which has empowered him and guided his ways of mitigating through many difficult situations, in effort to discover the most positive outcome, while being mindful and considering all internal and external variables.
Blayne’s focus has always been building and maintaining the highest level of satisfaction and producing superior returns. His great affinity for financial markets alongside his proven track record and a history of developing rapport amongst high net worth clients and partners has helped to distinguish Blayne to be well-regarded in the financial services industry today.
