Bringing an experience of over 25 years in the semiconductor field in areas like Physical Design, CAD and Methodology, Chitra has been co-founder and an integral part of start-ups like Concept2Silicon Systems, Open-Silicon, Intel Microelectronics Services and RealChip Communications. Known for her diligence in execution, Chitra was responsible for
setting up ITI’s VLSI Design Centre, chartered to design chips for indigenous projects in space and defence applications. Her team at Open-Silicon was awarded the "Best Design Team" by EE Times in 2004. A graduate of University of Madras, Chitra has also done the custom executive MDP program from IIM, Bangalore, India.
