David Hanna A former senior executive at IBM, David Hanna has been President, CEO, or Director of more than 10 high-technology companies. In the 1970s and early 1980s, Hanna was one of the fastest rising stars at IBM, managing more than 7,000 people and holding three different VP positions, which included managing IBM's three U.S. scientific
centers. He went on to become president of several high-technology companies, including Grid Systems, Altos, State of the Art, Versatec, NetFRAME, Emulex Systems, Ventura Software, and CacheFlow.
David currently serves on the Board of Directors of InfoGain, MITEM Corporation, CacheFlow and FHP Wireless. David also is Chairman of Hanna Ventures, a venture capital firm, the Hanna Group, a high-technology consulting firm, and Hanna Capital Management, an investment management firm.
David currently serves on the Director's Board of the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Irvine and the Board of Directors of Empower America, and serves as Chairman of empower.org, the research and education arm of Empower America. He also headed the Southern California Advisory High-Tech Council for the George W. Bush Presidential Campaign.
David holds a BS degree in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, and has served as a U.S. Navy nuclear weapons and guided missle officer.
