Florent Menegaux is the Chief Operating Officer at Michelin.
After graduating with a degree in Finance, Management and Economics, Florent joined Price Waterhouse in 1986 as a Consultant. Florent was soon appointed Manager, specializing in interest rate risk control and management for banks.
In 1991, Exel Logistics France, a logistics and
transport firm, offered him the position of Finance Direction. Six months later, Florent was promoted to General Manager.
From 1995 to 1996, Florent was General Manager of the General Cargo Transport division for the Norbert Dentressangle Group.
In 1997, Florent joined Michelin as Sales Manager for truck tires in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Three years later, in 2000, Michelin appointed Florent Sales Manager for Truck Tires Original Equipment and Replacement markets for North America. In 2003, Florent became General Director of Truck Tires in South America. In April 2005, Florent was appointed General Manager for the Africa – Middle East Zone. In January 2006, Florent became Executive Vice-President of the Michelin Group’s Passenger Car & Light Truck Tires Replacement Business Unit for Europe. Since April 2008, Florent has been Executive Vice-President for the Passenger Car and Light Truck worldwide activities. Florent also oversaw Michelin Racing activities. From June 1st, 2012, Florent Menegaux, Director of the Passenger Car and Light Truck Product Line, also oversaw Michelin Racing activities and the Materials Product Line. On December 1st, 2014, Florent was appointed Chief Operating Officer. Florent is a Member of the Group Executive Committee.
Florent earned his Bachelor;'s degree in Finance, Management and Economics from Paris Dauphine University in 1986.
