Gaurav founded BrightLot in January 2006. He previously served as Director of Business Development in the Corporate Development group at IAC, a $3 billion-dollar Internet conglomerate. Previously, he served as Director of Business Development at MeMedia, a leader in software-based behavioral media and advertising. At MeMedia, he managed
distribution partners generating over $24MM in annual revenue.
Prior to MeMedia, Mr. Chowdhary founded HyperLevel, which developed and licensed a patent-pending tournament engine for interactive games. He served as VP of Product Development and worked in conjunction with AppLabs, a Sequoia Capital portfolio company and a leading CMM Level 5 software developer based in Hyderabad, India. Prior to HyperLevel, Gaurav founded and served as VP of Product Development of Student Online, where he led all software development teams. He also was instrumental in establishing technology and joint marketing partnerships with Oracle and SprintPCS.
Gaurav graduated from Columbia University with a degree in Computer Science, as an Alfred Ogden Scholar and a King's Crown Gold Leader.
