James Landon co-founded PowerTech Water in January, 2014 following initial success in raising seed capital from the Bluegrass Angels in Lexington, KY. After small scale demonstrations of PowerTech Water's new salt separation technique, he and PowerTech Water were successfully awarded a National Science Foundation grant to advance and scale-up
their technology. He is currently the Chief Technology Officer at PowerTech Water with current focus directed towards pilot-stage validation of our membrane-free capacitive deionization process. James received his BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Lehigh University and his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
