Karen Avinelis grew up in California Karen and was involved in agriculture since childhood. She and her husband, Tom, are Cofounders of AgriCare, Inc., and have two married adult children (both involved in the family business) and four beautiful grandchildren. Karen is the Founder/ R&D Director of Thomas Creek Farms, a value added company
that produces healthy snack foods. She is involved in the blueberry industry and passionate for agriculture taught and done from a Christ-centered perspective. Tom and Karen view their business life as one of ministry unto the Lord. They have also served together in their local church, as leaders, teachers, counselors, and peacemakers. Karen holds a B.S. in Animal Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and a Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling from The Master’s College, Santa Clarita, California.
