Kenneth C. Aldrich has served on our board of directors since January 2001. He is in the business of making strategic investments in early stage companies and was an early investor in Green Dot during its formative period.
From August 2001 to March 2012, Aldrich served in various positions, includingCEO and Chairman of the Board at
International Stem Cell Corporation, publicly traded biotechnology company focused on developing therapeutic and research products through a proprietary stem cell technology.
Aldrich has also served as President of The Aldrich Company, a real estate investment firm, since June 1975, and on the board of directors of WaveTec Vision Systems, Inc. since January 1999.
Aldrich has previously served on the boards of directors of numerous start-up companies and is currently on the board of directors of JobSync, Inc.
Aldrich holds an A.B. in history and literature from Harvard University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School.
