He is an expert in commercializing technologies created and licensed from universities and research labs, having formed companies to commercialize intellectual property created at Columbia University, James Madison University, and NREL. Loren has directly raised over $165M from venture capital and private equity firms. He has led one Initial Public Offering (IPO) process and led 15 M&A transactions from the buy-side and the sell-side.
