I believe everything is in the numbers.
I like to call myself a globetrotter, I moved from country to country in my youth which taught me English, French, Portuguese, Arabic and Spanish. I picked up a basketball at the age 6 while playing against my older brother Mazen, and my passion was cemented at 12 when I played three years at the Wehda Club
in Tripoli, Libya. Later I pursued careers in both basketball and marketing, including playing for the Flamengo Basketball Club in Rio de Janeiro, and graduating with honors from the John Molson School of Business.
As the former digital marketing manager for the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), I led the daily content distribution strategy for social media and delivery of video content for broadcasters. Currently I am working as the digital projects manager for the International Basketball Federation (FIBA).
Some of my previous work included projects with a number of brands such as Reebok, P&G and Heinz during my position as a Strategic Marketing Researcher & Digital Analyst for BAM Strategy, one of Canada’s premiere digital agencies.
