Michael joined Vista Equity Partners in 2005. Michael sits on Vista’s Flagship Funds’ investment committee and is Co-Head of the Chicago office. Michael currently works with the firm’s investment in Forcepoint (formerly Raytheon | Websense), and sits on the boards of Advicent, Greenway, Mediaocean and Ping Identity. He was actively involved in
Vista’s investments in MRI Software, SirsiDynix, Sunquest Information Systems, Websense and Zywave.
Prior to joining Vista, Michael worked in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Group at SG Cowen & Co., where he focused on the software, services, and financial technology sectors. While at SG Cowen, Michael advised clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions, public and private equity financings, and other strategic advisory initiatives.
Michael graduated cum laude from Harvard College with his A.B. in Economics.
