Mukesh received his Bachelors in Commerce from the University of Bombay (now the University of Mumbai) and earned recognition as a Chartered Accountant (CPA equivalent) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, where he ranked 8th on an All-India Basis in both intermediate and final examinations. He has also earned the Cost and Works Accountant degree from the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India.
