Ned Villers is a partner with Water Street, a strategic private equity firm focused exclusively on the healthcare industry. Ned has been investing in the healthcare industry since 1999.
He has spent the majority of his private equity career with Water Street and its predecessor organizations, beginning with First Chicago Equity Capital and then
serving as a vice president at One Equity Partners.
After briefly working as a vice president at Summit Partners, Ned rejoined the team to found Water Street in 2005. During his career, Ned has invested in a broad range of companies across the healthcare industry, most recently building a leading group of companies for Water Street in outsourced healthcare services.
Ned currently serves on the boards of directors of Access MediQuip, CareCentrix, HealthPlan Holdings and New Century Health. He received a bachelor's degree in public policy studies from Duke University and his master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management.
