Hello, I'm Phil Gallina, a serial entrepreneur who's been on an exciting journey of innovation from a young age. At just 16, while still in high school, I founded a multi-service agency company. Initially, we focused on website development and basic paid advertising, but my passion for technology led me to expand our offerings.
A year
in, I taught myself JavaScript and Python to better communicate with my engineering team, enabling us to venture into application-specific software and mobile app development. In 2016, I delved into the world of cryptocurrency, particularly Ethereum, where I self-taught Solidity, Ethereum's primary programming language.
While maintaining our agency's traditional services until 2018, I continued to hone my programming skills across various languages. From 2018 to 2020, my focus shifted towards building our blockchain product line, specializing in smart contracts, audits, and basic ledgering systems, primarily on the Ethereum platform. During this time, I also had the privilege of advising prominent projects, including companies like OriginTrail and Genesis Vision.
By the end of 2020, I realized my ambition to create something larger than an agency company. That's when I founded Ozura, a cutting-edge fintech platform. Ozura is dedicated to providing robust banking and processing tools while seamlessly integrating blockchain technology to reduce chargebacks, combat fraud, and aggregate valuable first-party data—all while adhering to regulatory compliance.
