Born in Paris (1969), Pierre Gervois is Engineer, M. phil, and graduated from the prestigious Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). He was appointed Foreign Expert by the Chinese Ministry of Industry (CCPIT) in 1998, and worked in Beijing to advise Chinese CEO's on the best business practices.
1999 he has been appointed Chief
of Staff of Mr Laurent Fabius, former French Prime Minister and worked in Rouen on local development projects.
In 2000, he was appointed Head of the Chinese affairs at the ACFCI (French National Federa- tion of Chambers of Commerce, Industry & tourism), and has been involved in many bilateral negociations with the Chinese Government.
In 2004, he left the French administration to join China Associates SAS, a French consulting group as the CEO. Under his direction, China Associates SAS became one of the best renown French consulting company specialised in the Chinese market.
In 2008, he founded China Elite Focus Limited in Hong Kong and launched several travel publications in Chinese Mandarin.
In 2013, he relocated to New York City to open the new U.S. office (China Elite Focus Magazines LLC).
Guest lecturer in several Universities and Business schools as well as international speaker about wealthy Chinese outbound tourists, Pierre Gervois is the author of the book “ How U.S. Retail, Travel and Hospitality Industries Can Attract Affluent Chinese Tourists” (Published in the United States in 2012).
