Roger J. Wood serves as president and chief executive officer of Dana Holding Corporation. Since joining Dana in April 2011, Roger has inspired Dana’s vision to be the global technology leader in efficient power conveyance and energy management solutions. In addition, he has implemented an operating model that encourages decision making by those in
the organization closest to the customers, and he has delivered three consecutive years of improved profitability.
Roger began his career with BorgWarner in 1985 in manufacturing engineering at Morse TEC. After a series of appointments through 1995, he was named vice president of operations for both the Morse TEC Engine Components operations and Transmission Components operations. In 1999, Roger assumed the position of vice president of Business Development for BorgWarner’s TorqTransfer Systems, and in 2001, he was appointed president of Morse TEC. Roger was named president of BorgWarner Turbo & Emissions Systems with responsibility for their global operations headquartered in Kircheimbolanden, Germany, and additional operations located in the U.S., U.K., Hungary, Brazil, Japan, China, Korea, and India in 2005. He was named executive vice president in 2009, and group president and general manager for the Engine Group in 2010.
Roger holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from State University College in Buffalo, N.Y., and an MBA from Syracuse University. In addition to being a member of both Dana and Brunswick Corporation’s boards of directors, Roger also is a member of the board for the Business Leaders for Michigan, board of trustees for Manufacturer’s Alliance/MAPI, and CEO Council for Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA). Roger is also a member of the Ohio Business Roundtable
