Rowan is a founder of Curvenote, which is a platform to share, publish and work on interactive scientific content, allowing you to work with your collaborators to develop and communicate complex ideas, without the static limitations of print documents.
Rowan is interested in the intersection of education, industry, and academia, and seeing what
happens when you make powerful scientific modelling, visualization and communication tools accessible through the web. To explore these ideas, he founded 3point Science where he built web-based visualization software for the geoscience industry. 3point Science was acquired by Seequent in 2016; Rowan stayed on to help build Seequent's cloud platform for visualization and collaboration, Seequent sold for $1.05B in 2021.
