The London-based serial entrepreneur, investor, and philanthropist, Said Gutseriev currently serves as a founding partner of Larnabel Ventures. After stepping down from his position as Chairman of the Board of Directors at M.VideoEldorado, which he held since 2016, Gutseriev remains a non-executive director and majority shareholder of the company.
Gutseriev’s investments are largely associated with companies within markets such as e-commerce, retail, and consumer technology. One of his most significant enterprises, M.VideoEldorado, is well recognized as one of the world’s largest consumer electronics retail chain. Said Gutseriev is heavily involved in expanding and developing small and medium enterprises worldwide, pioneering cutting-edge technological solutions across a diverse range of markets. Through his seed investment company, Larnabel Ventures, Said continuously supports innovative entrepreneurs to develop ground-breaking technologies. Some of his most notable investments include, goods.ru which he helped transform into one of Russia’s largest e-commerce platforms. He is also largely accredited for guiding its merger with SberBank to form SberMegaMarket in 2020. The UK-based businessman holds a bachelor’s degree in Archaeology and Geology from St. Peter’s College, University of Oxford, in addition to a master’s degree in Oil & Gas Management from Plymouth Business School, University of Plymouth. After partnering with his alma matter in 2019, Said founded The Chingiz Gutseriev Fellowship to ensure the continuance of leading-edge archaeological research at the University of Oxford.
