Seifi Ghasemi serves as Chairman of the Board, Chief Executive Officer of Rockwood Holdings Inc. He has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Rockwood and subsidiary, Rockwood Specialties Group, Inc., since November 2001.

Ghasemi has a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University.
