Siva is a co-founder and the CEO of our company. He has more than 15 years of experience in microfluidic technology development, which has resulted in the high-content phenotyping of C. elegans to investigate locomotion, muscle physiology, and aging. NemaLife, Inc. was founded as a result of his efforts in his Texas Tech University laboratory. He
and his collaborators are collaborating with NASA Space Biology to fly NemaLife's core technology to the International Space Station in order to figure out what causes muscle atrophy in microgravity, which is a fast-aging environment. Siva earned a B. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He has over 65 journal articles to his credit and has won numerous accolades, including the National Science Foundation's CAREER award and the BMES Cellular and Molecular Bioengineering Group's Rising Star award.
