Prior to starting New Science Ventures in 2004,Somu Subramaniam was a Director at McKinsey & Co. and at various times led their Strategy Practice, Technology Practice and Healthcare Practice. While at McKinsey, he advised leading multinational companies in the pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology, photonics, software and semiconductor industries.He was also a member of McKinsey’s Investment Committee.Somu Subramaniam received his undergraduate degree (B.Tech) from the Indian Institute of Technology and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
