Srinath S, is the Chief Executive Officer of OIJIF and has led it since its inception in early 2011. Srinath’s 27 years of experience includes 18 years in private equity across India and South East Asia, where he has strong track record of managing successful private equity funds. In OIJIF Fund I, he represents the Fund on the Board of NCDEX, SSIPL
Limited, Industeqsite and Beaver Engineering. Under his leadership, OIJIF has launched Fund II and has successfully announced its first closure at USD 220 million.
Prior to joining OIJIF, he led the private equity business for FirstRand Bank of South Africa in India and was head of private equity investing at Reliance Capital which managed its proprietary capital and Reliance India Power Fund (a JV with Temasek, Singapore). Srinath also has a rich operating experience in the telecom industry.
He is an Electronics and Communication Engineer from National Institute of Technology, Suratkhal, Karnataka and a MBA from Asian Institute of Management, Philippines.
