Srinivasan Vishwanathan, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, has 21 years of experience in the areas of system architecture, storage, virtualization and cloud computing solutions. Prior to the current startup, Srinivasan was driving productized solutions business, and led the research on Cloud Computing Platforms.
Srinivasan was the Chief
Architect and Primary Driver of the large scale strategic initiative called "Magnum Opus" to deliver innovative solutions involving India engineering teams, University talent pool and Open Source technology.
He has 21 awarded Patents in storage and systems technology areas. He has industry representations, such as Board of Directors in SNIA (Storage Network Industry Association) and in the Unix POSIX Committee. He has chaired strategic leadership conferences, utility computing workshops and architectural committees. He was a technologist at Sun Microsystems and Network Appliance companies in the US in the areas of Distributed Computing, Next Generation RAID, Data Management, Cluster File System. At these companies he has provided leadership for the technical community.
Srinivasan was the founder and principal entrepreneur of a storage startup in the US. He raised venture funding, led the business and engineering teams to successful milestones of the company. Srinivasan has an ME in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
