Srivats Sampath is a serial entrepreneur who brings over twenty years of management, investment and technical experience.
He previously served as Founder, President and CEO of McAfee.com (NASDAQ: MCAF). He built the company into one of the largest and most successful subscription-based SaaS security services for the consumer and SMB segment, and
took it public in December 1999. He orchestrated a successful merger of McAfee.com with Network Associates (NYSE: NET), which has since become McAfee Inc. (NYSE: MFE).
Prior to McAfee, Srivats was the Vice President of Product Marketing at Netscape Communications (NASDAQ:NSCP). Earlier in his career, he served in executive-level capacities for Central Point Software and was the Chief Architect of Intel’s LAN Enhancement Operations.
He received his B.S. degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Madras University in India. He holds multiple patents in delivering security-as-a-service and contextual internet advertising.
