Steven Waelbers is the Co-Founder & CTO of The Kobi Company, the winner of the Robobusiness Pitchfire competition in 2016. The Kobi Company develops a multi-functional, fully autonomous robot for yard work that can mow the lawn, clean up leaves and remove snow. Mr. Waelbers picked up his enthusiasm for robotics during his studies for his degree
of Master of Science in Theoretical Physics. Over the years, he has developed several robots and drones as a hobby, before he decided to make it his profession. Prior to starting The Kobi Company, he worked several years in the financial industry.
