Vivek is a co-founder of Cotera, and also serves as its Chief Operating Officer. Vivek founded the company while an Entrepreneur in Residence at The Foundry, a premier medical device incubator located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to The Foundry, Vivek was the Vice President of Product and Corporate Development at Cartilix Inc., a biomedical
venture focusing on cartilage regeneration. Additional work experiences include senior positions at NDC and DePuy Spine (divisions of Johnson & Johnson), Orquest, and Collagen Corporation. Vivek received his B.Tech from IIT Madras, his M.S. from the University of Maryland, and his M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
