Vladimir is a CEO of RMI Partners, Management Company of RusnanoMedInvest LLC and NovaMedica LLC. Since 2012 Vladimir has been one of the leaders of this team to manage implementation of a large project in pharmaceutical and medical sectors co-founded and invested by RUSNANO OJSC and U.S. life sciences venture firm Domain Associates LLC. In the
course of the project RusnanoMedInvest LLC was founded, Eastern Europe’s largest venture capital company in Life Sciences, with a clear focus on innovative pharmaceutical projects backed by sustainable, cutting edge technologies. Initial project funding is $380 million. To bring such products and technologies to Russia and also to execute ambitious plans in favor of the Russia-based and GMP-compliant production of novel drugs, NovaMedica LLC, a Russian pharmaceutical company was founded. Prior to becoming one of the project leaders, from 2007 to 2009 Vladimir was the President at Medsi Group (part of AFK Sistema structure) and played a key role in transforming it into the leading privately-held medical service provider. Earlier he was actively engaged in starting up an insurance company called ROSNO. After getting in the top of insurance companies, ROSNO was incorporated into the world’s largest insurance Allianz Holding. From 1991 to 2007 he was 1st Deputy CEO, COO and CEO of specialized companies at ROSNO Group such as ROSNO-MS. Since 2006 he was the CEO at Allianz ROSNO-Life. Moreover, Vladimir is an investor and initiator of a number of own startup projects in medical, insurance and IT sectors successfully launched and running. Vladimir is a member of the Government Expert Council of the Russian Federation. To ensure better and more open public oversight of the work of government bodies as well as transparent procedures for the drafting, adoption and implementation of key decisions of the Russian government are the primary objectives of the Expert Council activities. As a member of the Council, Vladimir is involved in Russian medicine and pharma development. He co-chairs a joint working group of the Expert Council and the Ministry of Health responsible for development of the Russian healthcare and drug supply system development concept. Vladimir is a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, a permanent advisory public control body of the Russian healthcare system.
