Ziva Patir has most recently served as Vice President of Policy, Sustainability and Standards at Better Place, a pioneering electric car network operator which seeks to enable mass market adoption of electric cars through innovative network solutions and services.
Patir has also served 11 years as the Chief Executive Officer of the Standards
Institute of Israel, the nation’s official body for the preparation and publication of Israeli standards designed to ensure the quality of locally produced and imported products. For four years, she served as the Vice President of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and was Chairman of the Technical Management Board.
Additionally, Patir has served as Chairman of the Board of the Road Safety Authority of Israel, President of the Israeli Quality Society, and President of the Israeli Chapter of the International Women’s Forum (IWF).
Today, she sits on several public and corporate boards in addition to her responsibilities at Stratasys.
Ms. Patir holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in chemistry from Tel Aviv University and a Master of Science degree in polymers from the Weizmann Institute of Science. She is also a Certified Quality Engineer (American Society of Quality).
