Alex Axelrod is a CEO and Founder of the international payment platform Uluky. He is an Israeli serial entrepreneur with over a decade of experience in FinTech, Big Data, and software development, as well as multiple successful M&A deals to his name. He originally began his career as an engineer, specializing in anti-fraud and cybersecurity
systems development, eventually leading his own team of programmers. He created analytical solutions, conducted technical audits of startups and oversaw the development of Big Data products for large-scale companies.
After several years of holding leading positions in a number of global FinTech and IT companies, Mr. Axelrod went on to apply his experiences and earned knowledge to launch his own startups.
One of the businesses Alex created was PayReverse, a white-label cashback and rewards service that is integrated into apps and websites of manufacturers and retailers. Another was Aximetria, a Swiss-based and licensed financial service company primarily focused on making transactions via digital assets more easily accessible to the general public. Mr. Axelrod successfully managed and grew both businesses, eventually leading to exits as they were acquired by larger companies.
Today, he is engaged in developing a new international payment platform called Uluky, dedicated to simplifying the process of conducting cross-border transactions on the B2B level. As the company’s founder and CEO, Alex is responsible for all aspects of its growth, defining business development strategies and managing relationships with clients and key partners in different regions of the globe.
