John Dykstra is a cofounder and Chairman of the Board of MetaLogics Corporation. Mr. Dykstra has 35 years of broad business experience including significant and relevant experience in the field of diet and weight management products. Mr. Dykstra currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and as a member of the Board of Directors for Humanetics
Corporation, a specialty pharmaceuticals and nutritional products company. In his position with Humanetics, Mr. Dykstra had responsibility for the development of Humanetics’ flagship product, which is a clinically-validated, active ingredient in diet supplements and was responsible for growing this business to over $300 million in retail revenues. In this role he gained significant experience selling science-based products to the diet and weight management markets. Before joining Humanetics in May 1998, Mr. Dykstra served for seven years as Senior Vice President of MVE, Inc., a privately-held manufacturing company located in Burnsville, Minnesota. In this capacity, he was responsible for corporate marketing, new business development, international sales and general management of several business divisions. During his tenure sales rose by nearly 100% to over $200 million in annual revenue. From 1987 to 1991 Mr. Dykstra was Vice President of Marketing and Business development for DataServ, Inc. a wholly-owned subsidiary of BellSouth Corporation. His responsibilities at DataServ included strategic corporate planning, product development and marketing. He also has five years’ experience as a management consultant with KPMG LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP. Mr. Dykstra holds a BS degree in Finance from Indiana University.
