Tom Clement is a seasoned medical device entrepreneur having brought multiple medical devices to the market over his 30+ year career. The products he has been responsible for bringing to market span Neurosurgery, Interventional Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Endoscopy, and Radiology. These products include both PMA and 510(k) products. Tom Clement
co-founded Pathway Medical Technologies, Inc. in 1998 and served as CEO until September 2008, as the company developed and brought to market its flagship product, the Jetstream System for treatment of peripheral arterial diseases. He previously was a founding employee and held senior management roles at Heart Technology which was headquartered in the Seattle area. When Boston Scientific acquired Heart Technology, Tom Clement took on responsibility for the emerging cardiovascular technologies group of the Scimed Division.
Tom Clement is the immediate past Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Washington Biotechnology & Biomedical Association (WBBA) and serves on two private company boards, one public company board, and several not-for profit boards and Advisory Boards. He was one of the founders of the medtech angel group, WINGS, where he is an active member of the screening committee.
