Zoenasa will be available as Oral Tablets with an extended- and delayed-release profile for long term therapy in patients with proximal or extensive colitis; as a Rectal Gel for short term therapy in patients suffering from left-sided (distal) ulcerative colitis; and in other specialized formulations. In both animal and human research studies, the Zoenasa combination has demonstrated dramatic efficiacy benefits over mesalamine monotherapy.
