APCO International (The Association of Public-Safety Communications Officials International) is an organization of public safety communications professionals that supports the U.S. membership base of public safety associations and sets standards of the industry. The organization provides leadership programs, influences public safety communications
decisions of the government, promotes professional development, and fosters the development and use of technology for public welfare.
APCO International’s Government Relations Office (GRO) establishes and maintains relationships with the Congress, federal agencies, the administration, industry leaders, and national public safety and governmental organizations to advocate for the policies, regulations, and legislations of APCO members. APCO Institute provides distance learning for public safety communications personnel worldwide.
