Company Performance Metrics
Financial assistance for eligible low-income and other students and high-quality career training are offered at Bellingham Technical College, a division of Washington State’s main technical college system.
Located just outside the town of Bellingham, and within two hours of Seattle and Vancouver, B.C., Bellingham Technical College has over 50
associate degree and certificate programs.
Some are highly specialized and designed to train students for the Washington-area workforce. For example, the Fisheries and Aquaculture division gives students the education they need to work in various aquatic industries along Washington’s coastline.
Other programs are offered through such divisions as Manufacturing Technology, Culinary Arts, Construction and Engineering Technology, and Health Sciences.
One thing that distinguishes Bellingham Tech’s programs is its partnerships with local industries which help Bellingham Tech’s departments to keep current about technologies and workforce practices.
Admission to many departments is open. However, some programs such as Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Dental Assisting, Nursing and Veterinary Technology have additional requirements.
In addition to federal grant and loan programs Bellingham has financial waivers and assistance for students facing special challenges including unemployment.
